This table, called “The Wave,” was my final project for my woodworking exams. It features 24 wooden slats under the tabletop that create a wave-like motion when you pull one—each slat moves the next, creating a flowing effect. The table rests on a slim, intricate frame made from solid American walnut. It includes two drawers, one on each side, with magnet handles and no metal runners—everything is made from wood and joined with hand-cut dovetails. both drawers have a lockable compartment. The tabletop is faced with durable white Corian, designed to last a lifetime.
