This sideboard is made from pine but designed to look like a solid, old beam. Though it’s hollow, the pieces are joined with mitres to create the appearance of a single solid beam. The three beams form a U shape, connected on the side with a large dovetail joint. The wood is finished with an aged, distressed look to give it character and a vintage feel.
