This shoe bench was a Christmas gift for my mother, made from a solid slab of smoked oak with a natural live edge to highlight the wood’s character. It includes a maple shelf underneath for storing shoes, adding a light contrast to the darker oak. A simple, practical piece with a warm, personal touch.
